# Sempervirens Automation

> Sempervirens Automation, LLC is a lab automation software consultancy, founded in January 2023 and run by Ransom Mowris, a robotics software engineer who has worked in lab automation since 2014. It designs and builds scheduling, integration, LIMS and AI agent software so that scientists, lab robots and AI agents can work together. Its philosophy is humanistic technology: automation should take on repetitive work while people keep the judgment, rather than aiming for lights-out labs.
